2012 Bradford Ski/Snowboard Program

Early reservations are now being accepted for the Lynn Parks & Recreation 6 Week Ski/Snowboard Program on Friday evenings at Ski Bradford starting January 6, 2012.
Please download (below), complete and return the paperwork and a 50% deposit on your child’s total package no later than Friday, November 4, 2011. Please make checks payable to City of Lynn Parks & Recreation. Mail deposit and registration form to:

Date: Starts January 6th Through February 10, 2012
Location: Bradford Ski Area, Bradford, MA
Depart Time: 5PM Sharp!
Ski/Snow board Time: 6 PM - 10 PM
Days: Friday Evenings
PACKAGES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
PACKAGE A: The use of all lift facilities & transportation
PACKAGE B: One Hour Ski Lesson including the use of all lifts and transportation
PACKAGE C: One Hour Snowboard Lesson including the use of all lifts and transportation
RENTALS: Not included in the option packages:
• Skis, Boots, Poles
• Snowboard Including Boots
• Helmet Rental
LESSONS: All those choosing Packages B or C must select ski/snow board ability from the following:
BEGINNER: No experience, unable to turn or control skis or snow board.
NOVICE: Having previous skiing or snow boarding experience, able to turn or control skis in a wedge position & prefers easy, moderate terrain. Snow boarders can sideslip, stop and take slight turns on easy, moderate terrain.
INTERMEDIATE: Able to control & turn skis in a widetrack positions, sometimes perform skiing parallel turns with varied speed & terrain. Snow boarders can turn with a slight carve and prefer a variety of speed and terrain.
ADVANCED: Able to consistently perform skiing parallel turns, ski aggressively and prefer steeper, more challenging terrain. Snow boarders can carve turns and prefer aggressive speed and terrain.
