Will be responsible for the courteous operation of the main City Hall switchboard. Associate will maintain an up to date directory of personnel extensions and workgroups and be responsible for directing callers to the appropriate department or agency.  Under the direction of the IT staff, Associate will assist with new employee phone set up, provide phone support and training to City Hall employees on the Shoretel system, enter complaints into the department’s computerize ticketing system, reset user passwords, be backup mail operator and perform other minor clerical duties as necessary.

Candidate must have the ability to courteously handle complaints and questions from the general public.  Candidate must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office & Windows 10.

Candidate must have the ability to fluently read and write Spanish and English, translator certification not necessary but a plus. CITY RESIDENCY REQUIRED WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF HIRE.
